Mackinac Never Sweats

Although the Mackinac Never Sweats lost to the Rochester Grangers, we know who's really #1!

-Never Sweats and Grangers

-Trace and Stephanie dressed up to be "Cranks" (thanks Trace...the only guy to do so!).

-A Never Sweat getting into trouble (Craig "Bunk") for spitting. John "Ratso" Hiller and Bill "Hoot" Anderson trying to get him back in the game.
My battery ran out soon after, so not many pictures of the game.

-Afterwards, at Sinclair's...Cindy and I.

-Me, Peggy, Stephanie.

-Trace and I.

-Super Phil "Pops"

-John "Ratso" Hiller of 1968 Tigers fame!

Commanding Officer's Ball

For the Commanding Officer's Ball at Michilimackinac, Jenny, Stephanie and I decided earlier this summer to be "Bavarian Pretzel Wenches." We agreed it went better than we even planned.

-Katie and Maria (in her vintage baseball uniform)

-Part of the overnight team: Jenny, Geoff, Maria, Stephanie

-Dr. Wolcott (Steve) and Rosie (Carolyn)

-Crafties, wenches, whatever you want to call us (Jenny, Katie, Carolyn, Maria, Amy, Stephanie, Nicole, Jenn).

-Jenny, Stephanie and me...it's only apple juice. Notice pretzels everywhere. We kind of went crazy. They'd break here and there, too.

- Michilimackinac

- Jerry and Doug, the Pub Runners

- Me and Stephanie at the pub later that night (okay, that's beer, not applejuice. I must say, it's not ours though!).

Summer Fun!

-We had a moon rising party (full moon rising at 10pm...how often does that happen?), so here's the moon from Fort Holmes.

-Also Beth and Travis came up, and got engaged!

-A great old sign for Morning Snack Trail.

West Bluff Pano

-A very much distorted image of the West Bluff, but nice anyway, and what I see everyday coming home!

Taquanmenon Falls

Here's our trip to Taquanmenon Falls!

Fun time - water, climbing, rowing...can it get much better?
I do have to comment on the snake. Ollie caught him, Bill had scissors and I cut the plastic netting that was around his body! In fact, in the picture - preoperation - you can see it toward his head.

Little Arch Rock

Little Arch Rock...on the backside of the island. Not too many people know where it is - but we did and we climbed through both arches. Phil, Val, Jim, Dennis and myself.

...and an Indian Paintbrush flower.

Independence Day

And from the best Independence Day party there is...

Games, fun and firing a 16 oz. charge out of the cannon!
