The Fam

Mom, Sherry and the kids all came up to the Mackinac area for a couple of days. Here's what we did.

-Friday, July 20 at midnight was the unveiling of Harry Potter, book 7. There was a party before. I'm sad Tonks (Book 6 - I had no way of getting my hair purple or pink) and Trace is Sirius Black.
-Shannon as Prof. Trewlany, Lily as Hermione and me as Tonks. Very fun. I'm slowly reading it...
-The winning Never Sweats. 4 to 3 against the Roch. Grangers.
-"Mussels" and "Pops" getting in trouble for smoking on the field.
-Half moon over the bridge.

More Summer Fun

Michelle came up to visit for a couple of days on the island (and her parents on the mainland).


-We met up with Terry R., our cousin, unexpectedly. This is probably how he saw the scene, too. We got to sign all the guys' bar crawl t-shirts though...

Inland Waterway

On Canada Day, Bill, Mary, Mom and Dad and I went through the Inland Waterway (Cheboygan River, Mullett Lake, Indian River, Burt Lake, Crooked River...then we turned back). A fabulous day, although a little chilly.
