Summer came on the summer solstice. Although it's still not quite the summer weather we usually have, it's much better.

Still waiting for summer to come, but I think we've turned the corner and we may actually have some nice days coming our way.

Summer?

Still waiting for summer weather and temps to come. But flowers keep blooming and days keep going ....
-Lily of the Valley up by the cemeteries. You can walk through the road and not even stop or stoop and can smell these!

-One of the best new bands for us. This guy was amazing! Flashy in a Neil Diamond way, but good and fun!

-Trying to keep up the bike riding. There's just a few of these signs left and every time I take a picture!
-My lilacs bloomed in Cheboygan! More from the island...

Seriously, Summer?

Still not summer...still cold (apparently just around the Mackinac area - hot and humid other places in the state!). Still pretty, still having fun though!

-Going out to Millie's (which has some of the Astor Street's stuff, thank goodness!) for Myron's pre-birthday. Which he didn't really want to celebrate. How could you not want to hang around these people though?

-I'm already over 150 miles into my quest for over 1,000 miles on my bike this summer (really aiming for about 1,200). The east side of the island at dusk.
